Recruiting Mode
Many of you know that we at Sozo Firm have been, well, just a little busy the past couple of months! Just the other day, I was searching online for my son’s pediatric office (York Pediatrics) and was so frustrated when I couldn’t find them–not their phone number, website, doctors’ names, anything! I was just about to call them and tell them I’d optimize their website at no charge for my sanity sake, when I caught myself and used my brain. Reality check: I don’t have time.
I’ve had to stop myself and minimize some of my normal generous self a lot lately. I’m not proud of the fact that we’ve had to turn away a fair number of prospective clients in the past 30 days due to our workload. So … I’ve committed to bring on another full time marketing consultant. I’m already selectively recruiting and am hoping to bring someone on by the end of May (after college graduation, if it’s a fresh college grad). I’m also making adjustments to hopefully streamline how we do things so that we will not have to turn away so many viable clients.
Of course, bringing on another full time employee means we’re going to have to increase our overall volume of business in preparation for that new employee. As a result, I’ve removed our posted minimum monthly spend level and am encouraging businesses to submit requests for proposals while we are able to accept new clients.
